Lilyband charity

Today our 5th Graders promoted the virtue of Responsibilty by giving back to society.  Jen Newman, Jake Newman's mom, makes lilybands and gives them to cancer patients.  She had 300 lilybands/ninjabands she had to package and ship to a hospital in NY. Our 5th graders were eager to help stuff the lilybands in the bags, put a sticker on the outside of the bag, and tie it with a cute ribbon.  The students were all involved in this hands on religion activity.  Thank you Jen for giving back to society and letting us help you.  :)
